Vertical machining center refers to the machining center with vertical spindle. Its structure is mostly fixed column, and the worktable is rectangular without indexing and rotation function. It is suitable for processing disc, sleeve and plate parts. It usually has three linear motion coordinate axes. The rotating table can be installed along the horizontal axis on the workbench to deal with spiral parts.
The use of vertical machining center needs to meet the following four conditions:
1. Environmental requirements for site selection of vertical machining center
The vertical machining center shall be located away from the vibration source, avoid direct sunlight and heat radiation, and avoid moisture and air flow. If there is a vibration source near the NC machine tool, an anti vibration groove shall be set around the machining center. Otherwise, it will directly affect the machining accuracy and stability of the NC machining center, cause poor contact of electronic components, cause faults, and affect the reliability of the machining center.
2. Power requirements
The general machining center is installed in the machinery workshop, which not only has large changes in ambient temperature, but also has poor operating conditions, many types of electromechanical equipment and large fluctuations in power grid. Therefore, the position of the machining center requires strict control of the power supply voltage. The power supply voltage fluctuation shall be within the allowable range and remain relatively stable. Otherwise, it will affect the normal operation of the NC system of the machining center.
3. Temperature conditions
The ambient temperature of NC machining center is lower than 30 ℃, and the relative temperature is lower than 80%. Generally speaking, there is an exhaust fan or cooling fan inside the NC electric control box to keep the electronic components, especially the core processing unit, at a constant working temperature or a small temperature difference. Too high temperature and humidity will shorten the service life of control system components and increase faults. The increase of temperature and humidity and dust will lead to adhesion and short circuit on the integrated circuit board.
4. When using the machining center, the user is not allowed to change the parameters set by the manufacturer in the control system at will. The setting of these machining center parameters is directly related to the dynamic characteristics of each component of the machining center. Only the value of the clearance compensation parameter can be adjusted according to the actual situation.
