In the system design of CNC lathe, the components to maintain the production and operation of the equipment include not only metal structural parts, but also some essential electrical components. The electrical system and metal structural parts together constitute a complete CNC lathe equipment.

1. Switching power supply

Switching power supply is called energy-saving power supply. Due to the high-frequency switching state of internal circuit, its energy consumption is very low, and the power efficiency can reach about 80%, which is nearly twice that of ordinary linear regulated power supply. In the machine tool circuit, provide the machine tool with 24v5v DC power supply. 2. Contactor

Contactor is an automatic control appliance used to frequently connect or disconnect the main circuit with load. It is composed of electromagnetic mechanism, contact system, arc extinguishing device and other components.

3. Transformer

Transformer is a kind of static apparatus that converts a certain value of AC voltage into AC voltage with the same frequency but different values. Note: since the coil of the transformer is an energy storage element, during NC maintenance, the transformer will continue to be charged in a short time after the machine tool is powered off, so pay attention to safety during maintenance.

4. Relay

Relay is an electrical appliance that turns on or off the control circuit according to the change of input signal to achieve the purpose of control.

Note: the contact of the relay cannot be used to connect and disconnect the load circuit, which is also the difference between the role of the relay and that of the contactor.

5. Circuit breaker

In the past, low-voltage circuit breaker was called automatic air switch, and now it is called low-voltage circuit breaker according to ECE standard. Low voltage circuit breaker is an electrical appliance that integrates the functions of controller and protective appliance to effectively protect the electrical equipment connected in series behind it.
